Savills, on behalf of the joint administrators of Methodist Guild Holidays Limited, has completed the sale of Treloyhan Manor Hotel, Carbis Bay.
The selling price was in excess of £3 million, significantly above the asking price of £1.75m. The hotel has been acquired by the Northold Group.
The hotel occupies a plot of just over four acres, in an elevated position with views across St Ives Bay towards Gwithian Beach. It provides 39-bedroom accommodation.
James Greenslade, director in the hotel capital markets team at Savills, said: “We received significant interest in Treloyhan Manor Hotel, and following a competitive bidding process achieved a sale price significantly higher than the guide price. We’re continuing to see strong demand for assets in holiday destinations.”
