Police investigating a road traffic collision at Upton Towans, Hayle, on Wednesday, 22nd February are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
Officers were called to reports of a collision involving a car and a motorcycle on Upton Towans, at the junction with Treve Lane, Hayle, at around 10.25am.
The motorcyclist sustained life-changing injuries and was taken to Derriford Hospital by air ambulance. There were no reports of any other injuries.
Police have thanked the public for their support and patience while the road was closed. It was re-opened at around 5pm.
