Christmas is coming to St Ives — the winter lights are on already, but there’s more, much more, to come in the run-up to the big day!
Wednesday, 13th December, will see Father Christmas make his annual arrival in town on board the St Ives RNLI Lifeboat.
Coming ashore at about 6.30pm, he will then process along The Wharf into Fore Street, Market Square, High Street, and Tregenna Place, then on to Café Art, in Royal Square, where he will be greeted by the mayor, Johnnie Wells.
The big switch-on of the town Christmas lights will take place between 7pm and 7.30pm from Café Art. The main tree in the square will also be lit up.
There will be a performance from the St Ives Concert Band to get everyone into the festive spirit, and Café Art will have hot chocolate and mulled wine available.
