Your Town, Your Say, is due to meet for the first time on Wednesday, 21st August, from 10.30am to 11am for 11- to 13-year-olds, and 1pm to 2pm for for those aged 14 to 18. The meeting will take place in The Cornerstone, Library building.

Laura Peach and Rosana Cox were announced as the new St Ives Town Council Youth Engagement Project officers last month.

Funded by St Ives Town Deal, these roles will ensure young people have access to and benefit from the wider regeneration projects taking place across the town.

The aim is to increase activities and opportunities for children and young people, and build a longer-term legacy from the Town Deal investment for the parish. As well as the main Town Deal projects, they will also help to co-ordinate and plan wider youth activities and engagement.

The meeting is free to attend. “Bring your views, your friends, and come and eat some food,” say Laura and Rosana. To book your place, click here.
