St Ives Shanty Shout returns for an eighth year on 22nd and 23rd November, being staged this year in collaboration with the Friends of Edward Hain, for whom it will raise funds.
Some 30 groups will be entertaining over the two days, making their way between 11 venues:

- Café Art
- Harbour View
- Lifeboat Inn
- Pedn Olva
- Pilchard Press
- Queens Hotel
- Tretho Lounge
- Western Hotel
- Host, and
- Sea of Coffee
Acts lined up this year include local favourites such as Spaven Mor and Cork an Barbor, while others come from further afield, like the Barrel Seagals, from Bude, and High and Dry, formed in The Mendips, Somerset.
