People aged between 19 and 25 can now save on the cost of daily and weekly bus tickets through the Transport for Cornwall app.
The app discount brings down the cost of tickets offering unlimited travel within Cornwall.It reduces an £8 daily ticket to £5 and a £32 weekly ticket to £20.
It’s the first time discounted bus travel has been offered in Cornwall specifically for young people aged between 19 and 25. The discount will only be available through the Transport for Cornwall app and ageverification will be required before purchasing tickets.
Child (under 19) daily and weekly tickets have also been reduced, to £5 and £20 respectively, to reflect the discounted fares. Child tickets continue to be available to buy online, at a bus station, or on the bus.
