St Ives’ annual town meeting takes place this evening, giving residents a chance to question councillors and other local officials.

The event takes place in the Library Cornerstone building, and begins at 6pm. All are welcome.
As well as the council, there will be representatives from organisations such as BID (the Business Improvement District), and the police. In previous years, people from Cornwall Highways and the Town Deal have answered questions.
“If you have a question you would like answered, you can ask it in advance by emailing enquiries@stives-tc.gov.uk or call our reception on 01736 797840,” said a spokesperson for the town council.
“You will also have the chance to ask questions on the night. If you can’t make the meeting in person, you can watch it live and email in any questions for response.”
