ONE-OFF EVENTS

4th May: Beltane Celebration at St Ives Community Orchard and Nature Reserve, 3pm-6pm. Celebrating the birth of summer, the fertility of the land, anticipation of warmth and lengthening days, blossoms and wildflowers, and the unity of people. There will also be a seed and plant swap, cream teas and hot food in the Core building, music, a fire, and some fun activities.

25th May: St Ives RFC Youth Section Town and Beach Clean-Up, from 1pm. Committee members, coaches, parents, children, and anyone willing to lend a hand will be out in force to help keep the town looking its best. For further information, email izaakw123@gmail.com.

22nd June: St Ives Biathlon. Category information and entries are available here.

22nd and 23rd June: Secret Gardens of St Ives, 1pm-5pm. Tickets £7.50 from Colenso, Gabriel Street, or a stall on Hain Walk during the event. In aid of St Ives Community Fund.

15th August: RNLI Lifeboat Day at St Ives Lifeboat Station, 10am-4pm.

Kevranna Social Craft Club
At St John’s in the Fields community hall, 10.30am-noon. Kevranna means ‘to share’ in Cornish and this club offers a social space to chat, play board games, swap clothes, and share skills, recipes, and recycling ideas. Find out more on the event Facebook page.

Steeple Woodland Nature Reserve Work Party
Everyone is welcome to come along to take part in light exercise in a beautiful location with like-minded people. Meet by the wooden gate on Steeple Lane at 9.30am. FRIDAYS

Penderleath Community Woodland
Work sessions every Friday morning, 10am until noon, at Penderleath Community Woodland, Cripplesease. All are welocme to help carry out maintenance of young trees, with a view to plating more this winter. Park in the car park at Giew Mine, Cripplesease, and cross the road. On the first Saturday of the month the sessions switches to Saturday, 2pm-4pm, so no Friday session that week.

St Ives Arts Club
