Totally Funked Up made sure the joint was rocking as St Ives RNLI hosted its latest Bands in the Boathouse event.

Visitors were able to enjoy a barbecue and refreshments, and take part in a well-supported raffle, all of which contributed to a total of £5,970 raised.

Coxswain, Rob Cocking, said: “What a great evening, and it’s wonderful to see that everyone continues to support St Ives RNLI.

“None of it would have been possible, though, without the local support of businesses sponsoring, donating ,and supporting us, so we could achieve
this great amount raised that will be put to great use.”

Everyone at St Ives RNLI would like to personally thank Millerson estate agents and Aspects Holidays for their sponsorship of the event.

And there were huge thanks, too, to Sharp’s Brewery, St Ives Brewery, Seabuck Tonic, and Saint Ives Liquor Company, who donated refreshments.

Thanks, too, were expressed to local businesses who supported the auction: The Mermaid Seafood Restaurant, St Ives Harbour Hotel and Spa, Harbour St Ives, Laff Kids Clothes, Hudson St Ives, St Ives Surf School, Bier Huis Grand Café, Cornish Cream, Quba & Co, St Ives Glass Studio, Off The Beaten Track, Jo Downs Handmade Glass, St Ives Seaglass Co, John Chard Photography St Ives, and Saint Ives Liquor Company.
