The St Ives Guildhall has closed, with work getting under way on an 18-month renewal project to make the venue a top class concert hall.

The work is an element of the St Ives Town Deal development project, itself part of the £19.9m government Towns Fund.
Work can start as early as possible in the new year. This will include an audit, moving things into storage, and bringing
in a specialist to remove asbestos.
The town council reception, offices, and Guildhall upper rooms will remain open.
You can follow the project’s progress by signing up to the newsletter via stivesguildhall.co.uk, or through town council social media channels.
