The event, on Wednesday, 18th September, is part of the St Ives September Festival programme.
The Leach Pottery, founded in 1920 by Bernard Leach, established a legacy of pottery in St Ives which continues to flourish at both the Gaolyard Studios and the Leach Pottery.
Participants will meet at the Leach Pottery Museum at 6.30pm for a 40-minute guided tour of the museum and opportunity to have a feel of throwing on a potter’s kick wheel.
They will then make their way into town to meet the Gaolyard Studio potters and participate in an informal Q and A session.
