A drop-in event is to be staged in Lelant to gather opinions on the provision of extra care (also known as assisted living) accommodation locally.
Cornwall Council is looking at ways to increase the number of extra care schemes across the county and one of the sites being considered is council-owned land at Lelant Satings.
There will be a chance to find out more about this scheme at a public drop-in-event on Monday, 4th November, at Lelant Village Hall, between 4pm and 7.30pm.
Extra care offers housing for people who are generally aged 55 or over. It gives the opportunity to live in a home of one’s own with permanent on-site care and support on hand when needed.
