Police are seeking suspected arsonists who left the scene of a fire on the edge of Hayle on Monday afternoon (28th March).
Reeds on marsh land, near Glebe Row, at the end of Copperhouse Pool, were set alight between 6pm and 6.50pm.
While three people who were seen to run off have been identified, police are still keen to hear from witnesses. Email or call 101 quoting CR/026253/22.
The reeds have been destroyed, affecting the land and habitat. But matter could have been worse were it not for the swift response of Cornwall Fire and Rescue.
