Plans for Christmas in St Ives are under way with confirmation that Santa will be arriving by lifeboat to kick the season off on Monday, 2nd December.

St Ives Concert Band and the school choir will be in attendance as he makes his way through town to the Christmas lights switch-on in Royal Square, St Ives BID has announced.
It all starts from 6pm on West Pier. There will be free parking in Cornwall Council car parks from 4pm.
Meanwhile, a fundraiser is under way to expand St Ives Fishermen’s Christmas lights. A £500 target has been set by organiser Daniel Noall. Find out more on the campaign’s Just Giving page.
