Barnoon Arts, on Westcotts Quay, is gearing up for the St Ives September Festival. An exhibition, Small World, will run from 9th to 23rd September.

The exhibition is in Barnoon Arts owners Zoe Eaton and Peter Giles’ new base, which is less that two and a half metres wide. Small it may be, but there’s lots going on inside!

Peter can be found working on the ground floor, where there is also a small shop area selling artists’ materials. Zoe works upstairs, where there is a glorious view over St Ives Harbour. Every inch of wall space features the couple’s art.

For Small World, Zoe is showing a wall of Small Components of Happy, a series of more than 50 A5-sized abstract oil paintings on canvas.

Peter is showing a series of intricate and delicate abstract line drawings that reflect his meticulous and expressive style. These are on a variety of small surfaces, including paper, driftwood, and stones.

In addition, the exhibition will feature miniature wearable art pieces by the pair, such as pin badges, keyrings, and fridge magnets, each with original one-off artwork. . There will also be hand-made cards, prints, and original works on paper.

Small World opens at 10.30am on Saturday, 9th September, and runs daily until 23rd September, until 5 pm daily. Find out more at barnoonarts.uk.
