Community groups in Hayle looking to benefit from a solar energy grant, making use of locally-generated power, have until 14th February to apply.
Grants of between £500 and £2,000 are available, making use of energy generated on land off Wheal Alfred Road.
Hayle Town Council is administering the fund for the Solar Energy Fund Panel, which will determine who gets the grants.
Any not-for-profit organisation (except those with sole political or religious purposes) based in or for the people of Hayle is invited to apply. This includes registered charities, voluntary groups, community groups, clubs, and friends associations.
