Do you know a local community star? Would you like them to be recognised and celebrated? Then nominate them for the St Ives Star Awards.

The awards, which were presented for the first time last year, see St Ives Town Council shining a light on the town’s stars – the unsung heroes who quietly do amazing things, without seeking recognition.
Nominations are now open, and close at midnight on Monday, 18th August. To nominate you can:
- Visit the town council reception, in Street-an-Pol, for a nomination card
- Complete the online form
- Or email enquiries@stives-tc.gov.uk
Nominees will be invited to a special evening for the Mayor’s Dinner and Star Awards Ceremony, on Monday, 8th September, at The Harbour Hotel. The winners will be announced that evening and will receive a gift.
Nominees must live in the parish. Nominations will be considered by a panel comprising the committee chair and town mayor, with support from the town clerk. The decisions of the panel will be final. No councillor, council employee, or their direct relatives will be eligible to be nominated or to nominate.
