This year, six winners were recognised, five of whom were present for the ceremony.
“We recognised and celebrated some of the shining stars we have in our community who are quietly doing amazing things without seeking recognition,” said a council spokesperson.
“We would like to thank all those that nominated, and our wonderful sponsors for their generous gifts: Harbour Hotel St Ives, Kirsty Bridgewater, Finisterre, Porthgwidden Beach Cafe, and Aspects Holidays.”
The winners
Chris Care
For his work with the Royal British Legion and as a tireless champion for the Armed Forces over many years.

Joel Ninnes
For showing community leadership, bringing local people together to preserve the important tradition of Good Friday boating and setting up the Friends of Consols Pool group.
Sarah Robinson
For her fundraising efforts at St Uny School to support children and families in the community of Carbis Bay.
Jayne Wignall
For her tireless contribution to the community of Lelant.
