It’s been an exciting year for St Ives Theatre, and as 2025 draws towards a close, we are thrilled to announce that, after 30 years of using foldaway seating, we have finally had new fixed auditorium seating installed in our theatre.
This deluxe, premium seating provides increased back support and elevated height, compared to our old seating. Fully
upholstered in Matador red, these luxury new seats will ensure our audience members will be able to enjoy every performance in comfort and style, greatly improving the visitor experience.
This final piece of the refurbishment project has turned St Ives Theatre into a first-class mid-size performing arts venue for St Ives and West Cornwall, allowing us to start growing our community theatre.
As you may have noticed, we have started to bring in additional shows to the theatre — from top St Ives September Festival acts such as Fascinating Aida, through to comedian Johnny Cowling and Christmas shows — and we are slowly building a year-round programme of events.
We will be seeking to bring in touring theatre companies from around the UK, along with other events and shows, for the enjoyment of the community and beyond. Please check out stivestheatre.co.uk for programming info.
The next show to enjoy is our Christmas panto. This Christmas, the magic of Cinderella comes to St Ives Theatre. Get ready to cheer, laugh, and singalong with a phenomenal cast bringing this timeless fairytale to life. This production is brought to you by our youth theatre company, Kidz R Us.
Don’t wait until the clocks strike midnight — book now for this festive family pantomime. There are matinee and evening shows daily. Tickets are £15, with family tickets £55.
