Heavy rain is forecast from Saturday lunchtime until Sunday morning, the National Coastwatch Institution reports.
River levels are expected to be high from 10pm on Saturday night and remain high throughout Sunday.
“Expected levels suggest that there will be flooding to low-lying land and roads close to rivers from around 10pm on Saturday 23rd November,” said the NCI on social media.
“We expect rivers to remain high throughout Sunday and may issue further flood warnings if required. Take care near areas of concern and avoid walking or driving through floodwater. Monitor your local weather conditions and check river levels on gov.uk.
“We are monitoring river levels and have staff in the area clearing blockages. This message will be updated by 11am on Sunday or earlier if the situation changes.”
