A Teylu Festival is coming to the Tate on 8th February, welcoming families of all ages to join in with making, playing, and performing, for a festival inspired by contemporary folk and Cornish heritage.

Artist duo Wabkin will be in the Foyle Studio for Make Myth. The session will give participants the opportunity to create monsters out of scrap, record a myth, and join a monster procession through the galleries.

There will also be the chance to explore the heritage of Cornwall’s china clay country with Brickfield, an artist-led community brickworks.

Then, at noon, join St Ives Library for a special Cornish storytime.

The session, which runs from 11am to 3pm, costs £1. It’s free for under-19s, members, and local pass holders.
