An election date has been announced to elect a new St Ives Town Council member for the authority’s West Ward.
If the election is contested, the poll will take place on Thursday, 30th April.
Nomination papers can only be submitted in person, not later than 4pm on Wednesday, 1st April, to the following locations on specified dates and times:
- 25th, 26th, 30th, and 31st March, and 1st April, to the Deputy Returning Officer, Cornwall Council, 0E, County Hall, Treyew Road, Truro TR1 3AY, between the hours of 10am and 1pm, and 2-4pm; and
- 27th March, to the Deputy Returning Officer, Cornwall Council, Mayor’s Parlour, St John’s’s Hall, Alverton Street, Penzance TR18 2QR between the hours of 10am and 1pm, and 2-4pm.
