A working group is being established to plan events celebrating the 40th anniversary of St Ives’ twinning with Camaret-sur-Mer, in Brittany, in 2022.

Camaret-sur-Mer’s harbour, beaches, spectacular cliff scenery and well-established artistic community makes it an ideal twin for St Ives.
There have been regular exchange visits between the two towns since 1982, co-ordinated by the St Ives Twinning Association. Many exchanges have focused on the communities’ respective artists.
The anniversary working group will meet in the committee room of St Ives Guildhall on Monday, 11th October, and anyone interested is welcome to attend.
