ONE-OFF EVENTS

3rd June: St Ives Old Cornwall Society. Talk by Dr Charlotte Mackenzie on the Branwell family, of Penzance. Meetings are at the Memorial Hall, Carbis Bay, 7pm. Annual membership £10, casual attendance £2.

13th June: Fantastical Cornish Landscapes: authors Sophie Keetch and Zulekha A Afzal in conversation at St Ia Parish Church, 7pm. £6. Tickets here.

St Ives Probus Club
At St Anta Church Hall, Carbis Bay, 10am on the second Monday of the month.

Hayle Memory Café
At the Rugby Club, Marsh Lane, on the first and third Monday of every month, 2pm. For people with memory problems, their families, and carers. Come and dance, sing, make things, share things, do quizzes and puzzles, talk, drink tea, and eat cake. Free (but donations always welcome). For more information, call 07513 221066. St Ives Camera Club

Steeple Woodland Nature Reserve Work Party
Everyone is welcome to come along to take part in light exercise in a beautiful location with like-minded people. Meet by the wooden gate on Steeple Lane at 9.30am. Friends of St Ives Library (FOSIL)
Super Saturdays are held on the first Saturday of every month in St Ives Libary, from 10am-noon. There is a different theme every month. All welcome. Drinks and cake provided.
