Songbird Anna and Kokoro met at a music night and, although their styles are different, they share a love of music and both write their own original material.

Songbird Anna and Kokoro

Now Anna and Kokoro, AKA Ella, are preparing for a special September Festival performance, at the Western Hotel, on 16th September.

They are teaming up to bring their individual shows to this year’s festival with a mix of creative originals and a sprinkle of covers, each re-imagined in their distinctive style. They will entertain and inspire their audiences with stories of love and the things that shape our lives.

Songbird Anna is a singer-songwriter who plays the autoharp, a beautiful instrument with mellow tones. She performs mostly original folk-inspired songs born from her intriguing ancestors and love for the coast.

Kokoro challenges assumptions with a repertoire of quirky, yet inspiring songs. With just voice, acoustic guitar, and sometimes foot tambourine, kazoo, and Tibetan singing bowls, she will be performing mostly original songs, all with catchy choruses.

Anna and Kokoro are at the Western Hotel on Monday, 16th September, at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £6 and are available here.
