First has announced a number of timetable changes ahead of its summer season, which gets under way on 20th April.

Malakoff works
Work being undertaken at the Malakoff at the moment. The bus stop os now further up The Terrace, closer to the Harbour Hotel

The changes in the St Ives Local area are:

Service 1/1A: This service will continue to operate the winter routing between Penzance and Lands End/Sennen, but with an increased frequency for the summer. A limited seasonal provision will be made over the Lands End to St Ives section by Go Cornwall Bus as services 7/7A.

Service 17/17A: The timetable is significantly revised to introduce summer service levels and improve reliability. Service 17A will operate via St Ives Holiday Park.

Sunseeker S2: This service will not be returning for the 2025 summer season, with the T2 now routed via Gwithian on most journeys.

Service T1: The timetable for this service is completely revised to improve reliability.

Service T2: The timetable for this service is completely revised to improve reliability, and reverts to two buses per hour, replacing the T3 between St Ives and Truro.

Service T3: This service is withdrawn and replaced by additional journeys on the T2 between St Ives and Truro. A new commercially provided service 91 by Go Cornwall Bus replaces most T3 journeys between Truro and Newquay.

Meanwhile, improvement works continue at the Malakoff, St Ives. The bus stop is currently half-way up The Terrace, between The Malakoff and the Harbour Hotel.
